As the year comes to a close, please make a tax deductible contribution to the Arizona Center for Investigative Journalism, Inc., which helps support investigative reporting projects such as the Yarnell Hill Fire investigation. InvestigativeMEDIA’s founder John Dougherty was first runner in the Arizona Press Club’s 2013 Journalist of the Year competition for his reporting on the Yarnell Hill Fire. Mr. Dougherty has been named Arizona Journalist of the Year on three previous occasions. It takes time and money to maintain a website such as this in addition to reporting costs that include travel expenses and obtaining public records. InvestigativeMedia has posted the remaining videos released by the U.S. Forest Service in response to its Oct. 14, 2014 Freedom of Information Act request.
